...on..what is usually the reason? and how easy to repair? is it as easy maybe usually as pulling the top off and replacing a very inexpensive fuse or switch? (is this usually the reason?)

I had everything working except for the dvd player. Then I got a new shelf so I took it all apart and now I can't figure out how to put it all back together. Please, tell me what I need. And, how to connect them. Anyone?
For those that don't know what a VCR is, it was and big heavy blocky electronic machine that would pull in a cassette about the size of a shoe. Movies were inside these tapes and you could rent them for $5.00 each for only one day and pay $20 of late charge.

I have a Samsung DVD and VCR player and I have no trouble playing DVDs but when I got ot put a VHS in, it won't show up on the screen. Does it need to be on a specific channel, different than the DVD, to play? Please help. :)
With the TV in the trailer its a older tv with a VCR built in it. But we could get it to work. We called directv and they didn't help us out. Can anybody help us out.

I have a VCR/Dvd machine. Its a big machine where one side is dvd and the other is for vhs. I was wondering if i could record the tv i see on dvd. The vcr side has a record button where as the dvd machine doesn't have one. Do u think if i used a dvd would it record the tv on the dvd thanks
but should I buy a new one? This happens about once a week on average, you reach over to pick up a remote and accidentally knock it over on to the hard wood floor.
