I am wanting to convert all of my VHS tapes to DVD. I have a VCR & a DVD player, but my DVD player does not have a record button. As far as I understand, this won't work unless it does. And I don't have the special card or converter like I need.. Is there anyway to do this with a plain DVD player?
If I own a VHS copy of a movie, is it legal to rip a borrowed DVD for use on my iPod? Since there is no easy way to turn my VHS into a digital file, and I already own a copy of the movie..
