vibrate

It was just in my sweatshirt pocket and when I looked down to check it I noticed I had a text message, although I never felt it vibrate. I made sure the vibrate was on and even tried to put it just on vibrate mode, and nothing. I've re-programmed it, took out the battery and anything else I can...

I have a moto q smartphone and when i get a text message it vibrates for what sems to be half a century is it possible using maybe the registry editor to tun that one long buzz into several short ones??? Thanks for any help.
