    How can I configure Firefox to open links containing MP3s in VLC instead of

    QUicktime? I would like FIrefox to open MP3s in an external VLC Media Player instance, instead of using Quicktime inside my browser window. I had it working for a few days, but apparently a Quicktime update hijacked it again. I guess it goes by mime type for determining what application to use...

    why wont divx or vlc media player work on my vista laptop?

    i just bought an hp pavilion G60 laptop and i tried to download divx and vlc but after the setup it says "error installing" runing it on xp mode and right clicking on it to use it as administrator dosent work either it says error launching installer
