    The Hot List: Volume 35

Every week we sift through a truly amazing amount of “stuff” in the dozen or so hours we spend online—you know, the time spent not driving sweet cars. A lot of the cool stuff we find has to do specifically with new cars, naturally, but there’s also a huge amount of awesomeness that doesn’t...

My friend's mic on her Windows 7 (samsung) laptop recording volume is so low?

I've asked this question in regards to video-chatting, but I figured I'd narrow it down because I'm 99% sure the issue is with her mic. I cannot hear her when video chatting with her current computer (despite having heard her when she uses others) AND she's said when she's recorded her voice...

Can volume boosting apps damage your ipad speakers?

http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/volume-up-sound-booster/id409080892?mt=8 ^ that app although unable to boost it up to "150%" does really boost up the volume by a lot. What I'm worried about is if it'll damage my ipad speakers. My ipad speakers are ridiculously quiet compared to my friends ipad...

Drug Costs, Not Volume, Cause Regional Differences In Medicare Drug Spending

The cost of medications through Medicare's subsidized prescription drug program varies from region to region across the United States largely due to the use of more expensive brand-name drugs and not because of the amount of drugs prescribed, according to a study led by researchers from the...

Can you control volume from an iphone with A2DP Bluetooth speakers? Like

the Supertooth disco? Or do you have to turn it up and down on the speaker itself? Also please recommend a bluetooth speaker with good bass and no distortion at higher volumes!
