I'm moving into a rental and the previous renters smoked. There's nicotine all over the walls, carpet, really any surface. If not properly cleaned up, is this hazardous to my health?

beige type color. Black trim? Would painting the trim a black or charcoal color look bad against the color of the carpet? I like the clean feel that the white will give to the room and I'm looking for a nice modern design and thought about black trim. Any other suggestions? And if I do paint...

I just bought a new flat, not too big. Most of my furnitures are pine wood. They appear to be the original wood color. So what colors should I choose for my living room,bedroom, study and my children's room walls? And what color should I paint my door of kitchen and bedrooms. Thank you!
