It seems like the trick to thawing fish is to put it in cold water. Why does no one mention putting it in warm water? wouldn't that do it quicker? Is there a texture issue, health issue?

i have a v reg diesel ford focus, i just had oil leaks repaired and new oil filter and new switch fitted and oil change, but still when it gets to running temperature the light comes on and stayes on. it isnt getting hot not smoking and runs great!! what could it be what shall i do to try repair it
