Can anyone tell me if there i a way to make that because my com has cooling issues and i cant watch 720p videos so i need to make them in to xvid files ?

I have downloaded some movies.. But i want dutch subtitles on it. I have a avi movie and an xvid one.. I have subtitles for both of them. Now i need a program to burn the subtitles on it so i can stream it to my ps3. I prefer a free/cracked program cause i wont spend money on it..

When I convert my video to file .avi, I always see convert to divx movie (.avi) and xvid (.avi). And I don't get whats the difference?
