can you help me•??? My life is my life. No matter how people may envy it or hate it, it is unique and it made me the person I am today. I am shy, patient, random, nervous, happy, responsible, scared, thoughtful, hardworking, and at times, a bit stubborn. All of these characteristics have been sewn into me by my family, home, and the life that i have lead.
I'm eight years old, the trees are changing, and I've got my big, purple coat on. I laugh and run with my baby sister on our way home. I grew up in a beautiful house and i had space to run and play. I've never been struck with any kind of misfortune and I know how lucky I am. Whenever I'm having a rough day I remember that other people have it much worse and can only dream of having a life like mine. I know I have no right to be complaining.
Im eighteen now, sitting in the kitchen watching my mom bake peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies. "I hope i end up like you." I said. She laughed and asked "why?" "You're always happy, even if you dont get what you want." I said.
I'm in my room looking through all my old scrapbooks realizing that my life isn't to bad after all. Yes there are those crazy moments where we don't know which way to go or what to do, but we have to make a move even if it dosn't turn out to great in the end. But isn't that what life is all about? Taking chances and making risks?
No Im not the coolest, funniest, or smartest person in the world, but i'm happy, and that's all that matters to me, and I thank my family for that.
