So, I have had my car for about two years now, and the alarm would go off 4 or 5 times in a row and eventually it would stop. I called the dealership the first time and they told me to come down and get a new key (which was 123$ FOR ONE key) and it was working just fine until about a month later, it started doing the same thing. Only this time the doors would lock and unlock when they felt like it and the alarm would sometimes go off when I was driving. (embarrassssiinnngg.) Then for a while, it didn't do anything out of the ordinary, so I thought it fixed itself or something. I brought it to another shop and they said it was probably a wiring problem, or the battery was low. So they checked the battery and it was just fine. I was in the process of moving into my new house at that point so I didnt have the time or the money to drop it off at the shop. But last night... was hell. The worst it had ever been. 2am until 9am this morning the alarm was going off every two minutes. I didn't get any sleep, my 15 month old daughter was up ALL night the cops came 500 million times and all my neighbors were pissed with me. The car battery died and I was relieved it finally shut the heck up but now I have to worry about NOT having a car. The saab dealership told me they couldn't have me in until Saturday morning (today is Tiesday). And they told me they could do nothing about the fiasco that was happening in my driveway all night. Does anyone know why my car is doing this? That way I have an idea so the shop I'm taking it to doesn't screw me over because I'm a female and my husband is deployed? Serious answers only please, I don't have time for anyones BS today. NOT in the mood.
