thoughts on converting my prius to a plug in model. In a few months I'm planning to commute each weekend about 320 miles. I have a first generation prius. Right now i get about 48mpg. I'd like to change that number to around say 70-80. Is it easy to change the prius into a plug in model? Or is there a vehicle I could get that gets better miles per gallon than a prius.
