14 year old sleep pattern ?

Well i'm 14. I don't get much sleep at night, im actually the kind of person that needs quite a bit of sleep (not sure if thats because i'm young or just me.) well about half the nights (only school nights, weekends i stay up way later, but so dose everyone.) I stay up till about 130 in the morning. I don't know why i just hate going to sleep early. I always find other things to do before i go to sleep. And it all started when I got very stressed out (family issues) and i could not get to sleep (10:00-10:30) so i started taking sleeping pills, pretty sure they iether didn't work so i just ended up staying later and later, and now it's become a regular routine. Will this effect me in the later years. Or will it effect my brain in any way harmfully (long term) I'm usually tired in school the next day and i dont here a thing anyone says but my grades are still decent. Is this bad and wrong?
