1961 Mercedes Has new coil/ condenser/ Wires.?

Coil has power but very weak & seldom sparks.
-Its not diesel.
-Points are new
If dwell time is short, how do you go about fixing this?
 
It could be lots of things. If you can tow it to autozone, they do free checks for these types of things. Is the check engine light on? Maybe it's a bad pcm.
 
dwell time can be to short. coil might not get energized long enough to induce a strong enough magnetic field to fire secondary wires.
 
This isn't a diesel is it? If it is it will have glow plugs and not spark plugs. If not your distributor might have a problem or check the vacuum on the whole system.
