im thinking about buying this 1977 lt v8 305 th350 auto tranny camaro and make it my "fun" car seeing how my 1998 v6 camaro is getting 33 mpg highway, but was wanting to know how much horsepower i can get out of the 1977 camaro without upgrading anything in the motor or tranny? i know they have like 160ish hp with 260 torque something along those lines. i was told by a few people and read a little about them and it seems the motor and tranny entirly stock can take a bit more power. just wanting to know how much so i dont grenade the motor trying to through on a bigger carb, exhaust, or possibly turbo or supercharge etc.....
