1983 honda nighthawk part ID help.?

I am parting out a cb650sc and above the rear fender there is a black box with some wires going to it then to the rear lights.. Its not the CDI. not sure what it is.
its not the fuse box. its not aftermarket.
I think it mght be the flasher relay. Just thought someone could confirm or correct me. Thanks for the guesses , but if someone knows, that would be nice.

Does it connect to the turn signals?
It could be an aftermarket product called "priority lights"
Different models had different functions.

The most poplular in that era -
The rear turn signals would always be on (dimly), like the front running lights.
When activating the turn signals, that side would blink brighter while the other side would remain on dim.
When applying the brakes, both rear turn signal lights would get brighter.

It would connect to wire colors - GN, GN/R, O, BLU
