I'm willing to spend a little on this motor as i plan to keep it a while. its a 93 Chevy 350 small block, being rebuilt. I'm wondering, for maximum performance on this block, whats should the cam and intakes be? I'm sure 500 hp is going to be hard to obtain, but that's the goals! I want every ones ideas, and puzzles...
Everything from the dimensions on boring the block to the measurements for the port & polished headers.
And for top performance, what transmission should i be looking into. This is probably the area i know least in being a journeyman mechanic.
Last but not least, to keep a long lasting paint on the motor, what type of paint should i look into? Powder coat?
This will be my 1st big one alone; just want some ideas to run with
