my ford ranger is running too rich there is a sensor that is in the air intake that does not have anything connected to it. is it possible that the sensor that is not connected could cause it to run rich.the wires that connect to are green and black with white color. what does the green wire do also the black with white mean. i will appreciate your advice.

my 94' ran rich when i bought it, there is a screw on the side of the throttle body, try that 1st
