Recently bought a 87 Nissan Stanza wagon (I know, super ugly). Its the FWD 5speed. The PO said that in the mornings in can be a bit finicky to start. He gave me the run down about starting it.
1. double pump gas
2. turn key
3. as engine begins to turn over feather gas pedal
4. warm up for a minute or two, good for the rest of the day
He told me that his mechanic said it was probably a sensor causing the fuel injectors to not work properly. Dash "sensor" light is on as well.
So question is, which sensor? As well as can anyone shed light on the issue, possibly something else.
Would this be the o2 sensor causing this?
Thanks for any help!
