1997 saab 900 door locks are stuck?

went to close my drivers door from inside and it would not close, checked to see if latch was down and it didn't seem to be.i tried to lock and unlock it. then while it was open i locked it and closed the door from the outside. now it is locked and wont open. the drivers window is down and it wont open from inside or the outside. tried pulling the inside handle and locks no luck. any ideas??

my dad had a '96 900-s and it was a disaster. electric locks prevented door from locking and it was a loose fuse box, it then did it again, this time it was corrosion. then the electric morrors stopped working. then the heater matrix corroded, then the belt came off and it overheated and warped the head and now it sits in a scrap yard.

anyway enough of y rambling
it probably has dirt in it or it has corroded, prblems in saabs always occur suddenly. i don't know. no danger of it being stolen anyway, you cant exactly steal t without the key unless you plan to drive in reverse.

actually the bootlid on my dads did exactly what ure driver door is doing and he tool it to a saab dealer who replaced the lock, then recommended that he should scrap the car afterwards =P
