B Buddy Member Sep 3, 2010 #1 98 sebring coupe. v6. when i driving i get to about 40 mph an then it shifts into over drive as it does that it baughs down an then you can smell gas? if i turn o/d off an get up to about 60 then turn it on it doesnt do it. any advice?

B BobThecow New member Sep 3, 2010 #4 sounds like weak spark plugs,and a tune up is in order.The car is flooding out at the lower rpms.
