I have a 1998 Dodge Dakota 2wd automatic 160000 miles 3.9 v6. Recently when cruising on the highway the truck will shift into overdrive then if you let off the gas pedal and the rpm's fall a few hundred it will downshift into 3rd and go from running about 2200 rpm in overdrive to 3000 rpm in 3rd running 70mph. Sometimes it will not go back to overdrive and other times it will not and as long as I continue to hold a little pressure on the gas pedal it will stay in overdrive. Also the ABS and red Brake lights are illuminated in the dash.I have replaced both speed sensors one on transmission the other on the rear axle still got problems. I have also replace the TPS and the IAC still have problems. Any ideas? Please only answer if you know something about it and not answer "sell it its a dodge" or any other bullsh*t. Thanks!
