When i start my car, i hear a ticking sound and the car doesn't start. the battery is fine. all the lights turn on. after couple of minutes, the car starts abruptly when i turn the key. any help?
You have a poor connection to the starter or poor ground. If you know the battery is good (Have it load tested at Autozone) then you need to check/clean the connections at the battery and the starter. If that doesn't fix it, your starter may be dragging and would need to be replaced. Most likely it is your battery, which has enough juice for your light and all but not enough cranking amps to turn the starter effectively. Have it Checked.
