I have a 1999 Chrysler Sebring LXi Coupe. During acceleration, it jerks and jumps like the motor is cutting out, but it keeps accelerating.. If I have the pedal held steady, it doesn't do it.. but if i try to accelerate it does it again.
It also makes a winding noise that is coming from the front end, i've checked EVERYTHING, and nothing is coming up wrong that i can see. It does it from the time i start it til i shut it off, when im driving and when im not.
It has just started ALSO making a high pitched winding noise, that is higher than the first winding noise.
I dont have the funds to go to a mechanic or shop right now, just trying to get a few suggestions.
