1999 Ford Taurus P1131 Code?

I have a 1999 ford taurus that the engine light just came on. We had it tested and got a P1131 code. From what I have been able to find, it seems to point to an O2 sensor or some air intake problem. Can someone else help me with this. It is a V6 engine. It does not appear to be hesitating yet but occasionally, when im stopped and idling, the RPM's will drop to almost 500 and then will come back up to normal after a few seconds. Please help.
 
I would suspect with the maf (mass air flow sensor) or an intake leak.Maf sensor is located in your air box near your air filter.As far as intake leak, spray carb cleaner around your intake and any vacuum lines try and notice any change in idle, either a hesitant or increase in rpm.This would be easier with a scanner, where you can moniter the 02 short term fuel trims and watch it flucuate.
