2-stroke sport bike in the US?

Now i know that 2 stroke street bikes have been illegal in the United States since the 80's, but i was curious if anyone knew a way to get a Yamaha TZR or something of similar make (Aprillia, Honda NSR, Rieju Rs) and get it plated (Pennsylvania). I saw a TZR 125 the other day in a parking lot with tags and inspection and everything, which makes the third titled, modern, 2-stroke street bike i've seen in the past year in my state. I know that some people were able to get a hold of the 50cc and title them as scooters, which i would love to have as well. I think it may be easier getting the 50cc titled, but if anyone knows of any loopholes, i would love the help. Also where to buy one (new or used) would be great. There had used to be a shop outside of Philly that sold the Rieju's but has since closed. any help would be great. Thanks!
 
Try searching for these bikes online and speaking to the owner. There is a company in Canada that legally sells the bikes here, under a 20 year rule, lots of good models but I don't know if you can get them across your border. There are some great 4 strokes too, See the link below, maybe they can point you to a US dealer.

The last couple years of the Yamaha RZ350 were great bikes, easily as powerful as the 250's and lots of performance parts available. That might be a cheaper way to go than the imports.

It's possible the bike's you see are grandfathered in if they were manufactured before the law passed. Or maybe they are titled as a "custom" bike as slipped under the DMV radar.
