it all started when i was in park and put the key in the ignition. i turn the key forward i hear a sound like its attempting to start up but something is a bit off. i hear a loud pop. smoke starts coming out the front. i open up the hood but i cant tell where its coming from.
my uncle tries starting it a few times, the engine gets all rumbly and makes like it's chugging along well. he can crank it but it eventually dies out. he says it looks as if its starved for fuel despite having a full tank.
my diagnostic tool shows the same error p1121 but its always showed that. nothing new. the smoke is random. he replaced the fuel filter, nothing. were really stumped.
before this ive had problems with the blinkers, hazards and horn fuses blowing out. the lights don't go on when opening any door on the driver side and i occasionally smell rotten eggs through the vents... right now i just want to get the car running again. any help is appreciated.
