2001 ford escort spacer disk cost?

I need a spacer disk that has broken off between the cruise control deactivation switch and the brake pedal bar. I know this because someone else had the exact same problem with my make and model car (tail lights won't go out) I need to know approximately how much that is going to cost to have fixed.
