I'm interested in buying a 2001 Lude (auto/tiptronic) but I've done a bit of research and found out that a lot auto Ludes have had transmission failures. Most of the failures I've heard of are 97,98 but since 01 is in the same gen, I'd like to know what the chances of an 01 having a transmission failure is. The Prelude I'm looking at has 93kms and getting a manual isn't an option since I'm sharing this car with family.
