and had 0 power? drove it to work got back in 30 min later and had 0 power no lights nothing! then jump started it and drove it 5 min and reduced engine power light and check engine light came on! Parked it at work put a charger on and still wouldn't start even with charger on jump setting. Hooked up a code reader and it has a p1515 code (throttle body sensor) so cleaned throttle body was not too dirty and cleaned sensors best one can. Started it up and drove like 600 ft and limp mode came back on, also when key gets turned on there is a strange noise that comes from the throttle body! Any Ideas? throttle body cost 270.00 so hoping its something else!

Might be an alternator issue, not charging the battery, or the car's computer may be malfunctioning. Might be wiring, a short somewhere. You can probably rule out anything that doesn't require power, but in newer cars that not many things.

Don't want to break your heart but it is likely you have a failed throttle body assembly! P1515 is Control Module Throttle Actuator Position Performance, Although it is very rare for it to set P1515 alone without P1516 which is (TAC) Module Throttle Actuator Position Performance! to test (with the key off) check the throttle plate for binding by manually moving the plate through it's full arc and feeling for spring tension! If you are sure that the P1515 is the ONLY code stored It is likely that you have a failed ignition switch! To test you need a volt ohm meter and check the voltage to these fuses in the under hood fuse block (with the ignition in the run position 16, 18, 20, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, and 29 all of these fuses should show battery voltage or within 1/2 (0.5) volt of battery voltage!
