ok basically i get in my suv to go eat and i back up and notice my tailgate ajar light is on.
i stop to close it better and when i put the shifter into park my gear indicator says im still in reverse! well turns out i am still in reverse and the lever is stuck in the park position
noway to get it out of park and my tranny is in reverse!
i push the truck (further indication i am stuck in reverse) back into its parking spot. and now i wanna know what could be wrong! now i know that it could be the wire that guides the transmission into different gears but what else could it be?
