2003 BMW M3 or 2007 BMW 335i?

I have a 2001 BMW 330i sports package but I want something with more power and better performance. So between the 2003 BMW M3 and 2007 BMW 335i which one should I get?
I will be paying about 14000 for the M3 vs. 17000 for the 335i.
 
I'd opt for the newer model. Although both are out of warranty, the cost of potential repairs, maintenance, insurance, and fuel, on the M (unless you have deep reserves) can break your heart.
 
Switch it up man, i'm not a fan of bmw. look at some lexus, benz, or check out a mitsubish evo. but if you want a bmw i'd go with the m3
