2003 Chevrolet Silverado brake lights dont work. Changed bulbs, top cab light comes on when depress the pedal?
however, the rear lights dont come on. When I put on the hazards, they flash, (the middle ones) The top ones come on when I remotely lock/unlock doors. I checked the fuse block under BRAKE 10 amp, both in the cab and under the hood, both fuses are good. so if all the bulbs are good, the pedal makes the top cab light go off, all lamps in the housing do in fact work and are good, the fuses are good, I got a new Switch and re-connected it on the Brake pedal, still the cab light came on at stop, but no Tail lights. I connected my boat Wiring and the trailer lights came on.....a week later, the top cab light doesn't work now. I guess it seems like a bad ground somewhere and its getting worse, where would I find that?

If the tail lights are the blade connector type they may be open circuited at the blade wire.Check continuity of the bulb.If no continuity ,replace the bulbs. Then check for power at the blade connector socket with the brake applied.By what you have replaced their should be power their.IF no power ,trace the hot wire to the open circuit or short to ground.
