2003 Chevy Suburban air conditioning problem?

I've soon this happen on many newe vehicle's``, The only thing i can think of , is the newer r-134-a freon takes long er to get cold``, this in turn causes the ac unit to take awhile to cool down once it cools down it will blow right.````````````

the air conditioner in my 2003 suburban seems to be blowing lower when I'm either stopped or moving slow, as compared to when I'm rolling at a higher rate of speed. Is this something I can fix myself?
 
Hi,
It`s not your A/C. That is your alternator and battery. Your is not enjoying taking a charge. I think you will need a battery in a while.

It could be designed that way, when you're moving fast you get much more cooling capacity since the compressor is really spinning. At low speeds it can't keep up so the fan blows slower.
