I'm 20 years old working as a manager and still in college. I've saved up 10k and looking towards buying a second vehicle. I like both the z and the eclipse, but I don't know which vehicle would be the best choice in the long run. I'm looking for something sporty. Thanks in advance.

they both preform great, but i think you will get more potential with the 350z and it will last a lot longer so i say z all the way

Depends on what you're looking for. The Mitsubishi Eclipse isn't as sporty as the Nissan 350Z, let's just get that out of the way first. The Eclipse offers two engines, a 2.4-liter four-cylinder with 150hp and a 3-liter V6 with 200hp. Now if you're trying to get a good blend of performance and fuel economy the Eclipse is the way to go. The Nissan 350z has a 3.5-liter V6 with 287hp. So if you desire the extra oomph behind the wheel, the 350z is the way to go. The Nissan 350z is way sportier looking the the Eclipse, and you have more horsepower. But if you want an all-rounder, like good snow traction or something you can squeeze a few friends in. The Eclipse is the way to go, it may not be as sporty. However, you can fit more people in and its much cheaper to buy in the second hand market than the 350z. Hope this helped.

the 350z is more of a sportier car. Suprisingly the Eclipse is an all-wheel drive car.
