2003 Pontiac Vibe GT?

I want to buy a Pontiac Vibe GT. It's a 2003 and already has 97,000 miles on it. The sales person said they go to 300,000 miles, but i cannot find anything online to prove that. Will I be able to get at least another 100,000 miles out of it? It is in good shape, I absolutely fell in love with it, its manual, and they are asking 7,000. So please car guys and girls help me out! I have tried to find info and have come up with them being great cars, but thats it. HELP!!! Thank You!
hehe, sorry i know the vibe has a Toyota engine the only pontiac parts are the seat and design. So if you think Toyotas will go to 300,000 than maybe its worth it?
 
That last answer is funny because the vibe has a toyota driveline. Meaning the motor and tranny is toyota, they made it. So yes it will go 300,00 if it was treated well by the previouse owners.
 
$7,000! Get a Toyota matrix. The suggested retail is $8,080, i hope you want to keep it for a really long time cause as soon as you drive off the lot, the trade in value is 4,050 (and that in immaculate condition)
