2003 Saturn ION will not start in cold weather?

Usually it takes three tries before it starts. 1st try: crank, no start. 2nd. try: small crank, no start, 3rd try: start. each time I try the security and engine service light come on. Has anyone had this repaired successfully?

Same exact problem. I'm going to get a new key, and go from there. The Saturn dealer here in Lansing, Michigan says it needs a new ignition switch, but I've also heard that won't fix the problem. Look into the failed GM security feature called Passlock...there's your problem.
