2004 CITROEN C2 1.4i SX SensoDrive?

Do you guys think a 2004 CITROEN C2 1.4i SX SensoDrive would be a decent car for a new driver at 17 to drive?

Its insurance Group is 3, and I think the car is so nice.. I know some of my friends might not approve as its small - but I love it! especially in black.
