I have a 2005 canyon 4x4 4 door 3.5l and the four wheel drive keeps going out in it i have had 2 transfer cases in the past year. I am sick of putting the stock one back in. and wanting a heavy duty transfer from a older chevy. I have a front end from a 1990 chevy pickup 4x4 and need to know if the gears match up and if it will also bolt right up. If not if anybody has done any swaps on the front end with a different transfer or whole axle. I do some offroading but more trail riding than anything. I am not rich and cant keep replacing the front end or buy a super expensive aftermarket parts for the powertain. If anybody has any tips or important info on what to do it would be greatly appreciated.....thanks
