I have a 6 cyl, 2005 Nissan Xterra. I took it to nissan and had the diagnostics run on it and they said i needed a new one and quoted me a price of 1000 dollars. Where I live there is no smog law. What should i do? Also i have heard of universal converters and would it be ok to put one of them on? I know 1000 is a total rip off. o2 sensors do not cost alot even if i had to replace them. Please help me.
