2009 ford escape, V6, accelerate?

Hi, this question is about v6 ford escape 0to60 accelerate, I just noticed many auto shop and such like KBB, auto aol, they said ford escape can run 0 to 60 mile for 6.4s(FWD) and 6.0(AWD),it's also a 'official data'. I owned a escape witch is V6, but I test it many times myself, and I never get a good accelerate, so I wanta know why my test speed is bit slower than 'official accelerate'?
And V6 escape really possible for that number?

it depends on alot of things, like wind speed thats coming the way you are going, gas you use, air filter used, ,
it might be possible they have a speed/acc lock on there,, my parents had my first car set up so i couldnt go any faster than 40 mph,
