The basketball gods are smiling on Cleveland again. After losing LeBron James to the Miami Heat in free agency in a bitter divorce, the basketball gods made things right again by giving the Cleveland Cavaliers the top choice in the 2011 NBA Draft. The Minnesota Timberwolves will draft second, while the Utah Jazz get the third pick.
These 2011 NBA Draft Lottery results are totally surprising considering that the Cavs and the T’Wolves were horrible this season. The Jazz, with the third overall pick, will have a chance to bounce right back into the playoffs.
Who will the Cavs pick number one overall? Kyrie Irving is the early favorite. He could step in and be the answer at point guard for the Cavs right away. The other possible top picks include Derrick Williams, Bismack Biyombo and Enes Kanter.
Cavs fans have something else to do now other than burn LeBron's jersey
