Now that we know the order of the 2011 NBA Draft, it’s time to start the predictions. While this draft is considered weak, especially in the lottery, there are some teams that should really be able to help themselves — most notably the Cleveland Cavaliers, who have the first and fourth picks in the draft!
Here is our first 2011 NBA Mock Draft:
1. Cleveland Cavaliers select Kyrie Irving
You can build around a superstar point guard.
2. Minnesota Timberwolves select Bismack Biyombo
The perfect complement for Kevin Love.
Bismack Biyombo - Timberwolves
3. Utah Jazz select Derrick Williams
The Jazz get great value at No. 3.
4. Cleveland Cavaliers select Enes Kanter
A center and a point guard? Perfect.
5. Toronto Raptors select Brandon Knight
The Raptors get their PG of the future.
6. Washington Wizards select Tristan Thompson
Talented size can’t be past up.
7. Sacramento Kings select Kemba Walker
The Kings get a good partner for Tyreke Evans.
8. Detroit Pistons select Alec Burks
A shooting guard to replace Rip.
9. Charlotte Bobcats select Kawhi Leonard
Power forward is a weakness for Charlotte.
10. Milwaukee Bucks select Jonas Valanciunas
Risky but talent undeniable.
11. Golden State Warriors select Chris Singleton
The Warriors always need more size.
12. Utah Jazz select Jimmer Fredette
Local favorite is actually a good fit.
13. Phoenix Suns select Jan Vesely
Fits well with what PHX likes to do.
14. Houston Rockets select Kenneth Faried
Arguably best college player over last few years.
