2Wire AT&T Internet not working. Help needed . . . please!?

Hello,

So my internet has not been working for a while. I have a 2WIRE At&T internet service. I am having issues, my internet box has the LED light on except for my internet. When i open my internet explorer it says broadband is unable. my DSL is fine but not my internet. Help :]
 
open internet explorer and in the address bar type 192.168.1.254/MCD or gateway.2wire.net/MDC click on resets under troubleshooting header click clear on local network
I have 2 phone numbers for them 1-408-428-9500 and 1-480-567-7021
I had this same trouble and they are very helpful on the phone
 
Did you make any changes to your telephone wiring? Anything at all?

Did you add an alarm system? Add an answering machine? A FAX machine? A new phone? A new satellite box that connects to the phone line?

Every single device that connects to your phone line must have a DSL filter, except for the DSL modem itself.
