3 1/2 year old hp laptop how much longer will it last?

HP Pavilion dv9500 Notebook PC
Processor: AMD Turino(tm) 64 X2 mobile TL-58 1.90 GHz
RAM: 1.00 GB
System type: 32-bit Operating System

dvd drive was tested on a different laptop and works
on my hp it doesn't work and the power jack is messed up and has to be taped to keep it in place
and i have 2 dead pixels in my screen other then that it works
 
It can physically last another 50 years+ depending on how you take care of it.

But your technology is becoming outdated as time goes on, with that low ram and a 32 bit operating system, its only a matter of 1-3 years before its highly recomended to buy a new computer (prefrably a PC).

If you can maintain it right you could use it up to three more years, but thats pushing it. You should be fine for atleast another year, but if I were you I would buy a new cpu. I myself have a 6gb ram 2.7Ghz 64 bit operating system, which i bought 2 years ago.

So if you have money buy a new computer. But if you dont, your not in any hurry.
