I want to stock a 55 gallon tank, i will cycle it of coarse.
should i get goldfish or tropical?
I was thinking goldfish. 4 reasons why: 1. they are easy to take care of; 2. they are easy to feed, 3. they dont need heaters, and 4. you can put them outside.
Then I changed my mind to tropical. 5 reasons why. 1. they are small and you can stick more in the tank. 2. they are more colorful. 3. they dont grow. 4. you can decorate the tank any way you want to and add plants. 5. there are so many different ones to choose from.
Then there are reasons why I dont want them. 5 reasons for goldfish:
1. they polute the tank. 2. there are only a certain kind of plant you can put with them. 3. they take up alot of room in the tank for only one. 4. the fancy varieties (which i want) need a heater. and 5. you really cant put much ornaments in there do to them being handi cap.
5 reasons why i might not want tropical. 1. they need a heater, 2. you cant stick big fish with them. 3. sometimes they may become aggressive 4. they are more expencive and 5. they need more care
I am willing to take care of either one but I cant decide which one.
