70 liter aquarium with a betta fish?

i have a betta fish and i am getting a marine master amazon 70 liter aquarium soon. i plan on aquascaping it and making it look nice.

-will he be ok transfering from a 5 liter tank to this 70 liter one?
-any recommendations on plants/fish for him?
-what filter and wattage of heater should i buy?

if you could answer any of these questions it would be a great help. thanks in advance =)

Congrats on the upgrade!!!

first - you need to set up your tank with 2 inches of sand with small gravel on top (about 1 inch worth) total 3 inches. Buy low light plants (check with your LFS) and rinse plants before planting to get rid of snails and any diseases that may be lurking. Ad your rocks, logs, no fishing sign, etc to decorate your aquarium. CYCLE your tank.
heater - 100watt should do it, make sure that the heater is completely submerged, and placed low enough so that when you do water changes, the element is not exposed outside of the water
filter - I would recommend a corner filter like a sponge filter, as bettas do not like a whole lot of current, especially when breeding. If you are not planning on breeding him, then a hang on back filter with flow control will be more effective in keeping your water clean.

Consider adding cherry/amano/ghost shrimp to your tank first to help cycle the tank and provide some more company for your betta.
