87 toyota supra brake light problem?

i have a 1987 toyota supra non turbo and i need some help with the brake lights. when i turn the headlights on, the tail lights work, but when i step on the brake, all three of the brake lights do not work (this is including the brake light on the hatchback part of the car). what seems to be causing this problem? can anyone help me?

check the fuses. if none of them are blown, get a wiring diagram and check the wiring you could have a bad connection somewhere.
