97 4x4 gmc jimmy steering?

It feels like my steering has alot of wear? When I'm driving its almost like I don't have much control especially when I'm on the highway just feels like I'm all over the place. Is there a part that should be replaced or need to be tightened up? Just feels loose. Thanks!
 
could be any number of things
you could have some worn out front end components
the steering box high steer adjustment may need to be adjusted
the front end alignment may be off , if the caster angle isn't right on the front wheels can start shimmying the same way a shopping carts wheels will do when they are bent

best thing to do is have a pro have a look at it
