98 camry le 4cyl, a/c vent control not working, HELP!?

a/c position is stuck between defrost and front vent, the knob simply does not work, my guess is broken vacuum line behind the control, however i cant for the life of me figure out how to remove the control to inspect it, ive checked all engine vacuum lines and they're all fine.
any help would be appreciated

not positive on this car, but your going to need to check vacuum lines on the blend doors, probably under the glove box, might be able to see them by removing the glove box. if those look ok could be the actuator they plug into. test with a hand held vacuum gauge to see if it opens and closes and holds vacuum. pop the switch panel off and check electrical or vacuum at the switch. this may require pulling the center dash cover off as well.
