1998 Dodge Stratus my first car. I've had it for about 7 months, never got around to asking this.
My engine is obnoxiously fast. It has a 16 valve 2.4L V4 that is newer than the car. Whenever I put regular gas in it, it jumps when I touch the accelerator. When I put plus in it, it doesn't jump, but it seems to use more gas and is more expensive. Is there something wrong with my car. What should I do. Also, it has a brand new Pioneer system, so the doors have brand new pioneer speakers and sub woofers in it. The front speakers (under the windshield, not in the door) are original and make fuzzy sounds when I have the music any higher than 20 or the bass high (out of 100). Is there any way to shut the speaker off that makes the sound (its only the front left one)
